I am Harry Singh PhD, and I've been a dedicated math tutor since 2008. My goal is to make math enjoyable, accessible, and affordable for everyone. With personalized teaching methods and a passion for helping students succeed, I aim to build confidence and a solid understanding of math concepts, from Grade 5 to all the way up to SAT/ACT.
I obtained my doctorate in Aerospace-Nonlinear Optimization, a specialized area of applied mathematics, from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, where I also earned my MS. My expertise in advanced mathematical techniques allows me to offer unique insights and practical problem-solving strategies, helping students master complex topics like calculus, algebra, and optimization effectively.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in making math approachable, engaging, and practical. I focus on building strong foundational skills, fostering critical thinking, and tailoring lessons to individual learning styles. By simplifying complex concepts and connecting them to real-life applications, I empower students to excel in algebra, calculus, geometry, and more, helping them achieve their academic and personal goals in mathematics.
I’ve helped many students improve their math grades and test scores, including excelling in SAT and ACT math sections. My personalized approach has empowered students to gain admission to prestigious universities such as Harvard, University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, Stanford, UC Berkeley etc.
