Looking for a math tutor near you? I’m Dr. Harry Singh, PhD, a dedicated math tutor since 2008, specializing in Grades 5 – 12 math tutoring, including SAT and ACT math preparation. My goal is to make math enjoyable, accessible, and affordable, helping students build confidence and a strong understanding of core and advanced math concepts.
I earned my PhD in Aerospace-Nonlinear Optimization and MS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD. With expertise in advanced mathematical techniques, I provide students with practical problem-solving strategies and clear guidance on challenging topics such as calculus, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and optimization. My experience allows students to master complex math concepts efficiently while developing confidence and critical thinking skills.
My approach is centered on making math approachable, engaging, and practical. I focus on:
